Arts Melbourne is inviting you to share your memories of past celebrations in a letter, or email. After all, Melbourne always puts on a great show when there is an excuse to celebrate! Working with artists Melanie Wheeler, Rebecca Goldsmith and Chris Wright to continue Together Through Sound recording and sharing memories of events and celebrations in Melbourne.

We are excited to share with you news that we have received a National Forest Arts Grant for Whispers from the Woods – a brand new creative writing project for young people to share experiences of Nature during Coronavirus Lockdown.

The 2021 Emerging Artist Award launched in March 2021. This year’s theme is “COMMUNITY”. The competition is open to 18-24 year olds. Please send us your ideas and a few photos of current work by 30th April.

The Call for Artists is now open and the Melbourne Festival Art & Architecture Trail will take place on 18 & 19 September 2021. 2020 was a strange year for all of us but we would like to thank everyone for their support last year – and we look forward to working with all of our Artists, Hosts, Volunteers, and Sponsors in 2021.
